During my time as the Prevention Coordinator at the Native American Community Academy, Sindy was instrumental in helping our team understand the SOW, prevention activities, and reporting requirements. I was new to OSAP and coming into an already established program and she guided me through the process. She explained the Strategic Prevention Framework, objectives, activities and how they related to our desired outcomes. She also helped us meet our OSAP grant objectives. As the Evaluator, she ensured that in planning our services, we kept both grant requirements and community needs at the forefront of our approach. Sindy ensured we understood the importance of grants management and provided helpful tools for our team. In addition, she was very significant in helping our team grasp unique aspects of how prevention can be successful in serving our community of students, teachers, staff, and families.
