Approach
Sindy Bolaños-Sacoman works with compassion and collaboration at the center of everything she does. Kind, timely service and personable communication allows her to build community and consensus effectively. She is known for her creative implementation and interactive, engaging methods that focus on storytelling and data visualization.
While many organizations are intimidated by data, she makes it approachable and builds capacity within those organizations to help stakeholders understand its value. As the data is clarified, organizations begin to get to the heart of their WHY, and understand the key outcomes that will make their programs successful for the long term.
SBS Consulting removes fear around data collection and program evaluation through detailed, collaborative guidance. Future, long-term needs are matched with funding opportunities to help arrive at a solution to meet and exceed those needs. With every project, Sindy works with cultural sensitivity and approaches every task at hand with the intent to understand it from all sides and with cultural humility.
- Matches core capabilities of an organization with opportunities

- Assesses and implements programming based on Community Readiness
- Clarifies data needed to represent positive outcomes
- Approaches each project with cultural humility
Sindy came out to meet us and had such a positive response to the work we do. She resonated with the services we offer and understood the value of what we do in the world-she’s awesome at that…that gift is invaluable.

Sindy’s Passions
Sindy has trained numerous groups of youth (tribal and non-tribal) to introduce them to the concepts of data analysis. Kids ages 12-18 who attend these youth programs learn how to gather local data, then analyze and present it.
She is also passionate about building local capacity, program implementation, and training up new workers in the field of prevention.
In 2023, Sindy received the Behavioral Health Star Award in recognition for her dedication to the behavioral health system in New Mexico and her work with communities in crisis.
